Worship at Good Shepherd

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

We gather every Sunday morning for worship in the sanctuary at 10:00am with the service live-streamed to YouTube.  Typical Sunday services last about an hour and include forgiveness of sins, scripture, preaching, praying, Holy Communion, music, and community participation.  More than anything, worship at Good Shepherd is about gathering together to experience God’s love and grace together.

What to expect

No matter where you come from or where you are on your faith journey, you have a place here. Whether you’ve been a Lutheran your whole life, are from another faith background, or are just exploring, we welcome you with open arms.

Come as you are—there’s no dress code! You'll see people dressed in whatever makes them comfortable—some in their Sunday best, others in casual clothes, and even a few coming straight from work. What matters most is that you're here!

Sacraments – Baptism & Communion

Every Sunday, we remember that in baptism we are loved, forgiven, and sent into the world to share that love. We also share Holy Communion, where we believe Jesus is truly present in the bread and wine. Everyone is welcome at the table—no exceptions!

What is Worship Like?

Our services follow a pattern called liturgy, which comes from scripture and ancient church traditions. But don’t worry—we show it on the monitors inside the sanctuary so it’s easy to follow along. The prayers, creeds, and responses we say each week help shape our faith and remind us of God’s promises. Worship changes throughout the year, from joyful celebrations like Easter and Christmas to quieter, more reflective seasons.

Community & Music

Worship isn’t just about sitting in a pew—it’s about being part of something bigger. Whether you're in person or online, we worship together as a community. We encourage everyone to connect, get to know one another, and experience the love of God in real relationships.

Music is a huge part of our worship, too! Whether it’s singing hymns together or taking a moment for quiet reflection, music helps us connect with God and each other.

At Good Shepherd, worship is meaningful, welcoming, and connected to real life. If you have any questions, reach out to us—we’d love to welcome you!
